At Chocolate Fish we take pride in beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand and are playing our role in helping to protect our environment by reducing landfill waste. Approximately three-quarters of waste disposed of in landfills could have been recovered, reused or recycled.
In our studio we upcycle old materials into fun and beautiful designer products that make wonderful gifts and personal treasures.
Each item we make is inspired by New Zealand, has it’s own quirky qualities and is 100% unique. Why buy new imported products when you can buy kiwi-made?
Chocolate Fish products are designed and handcrafted by a family collective located in Christchurch, New Zealand. We enjoy fossicking and love to bring life back to old items that have been thrown into cupboard corners or may otherwise have been sent to a landfill.
Our goals are simple:

- Support and promote mental health
- Give joy to others
Suicide prevention is a topic we are very passionate about because our family has been severely impacted by depression, anxiety and suicide. We have received great support from fellow kiwis over the last 25 years as we’ve struggled through tough times and its now time to give back by helping other kiwi families.
