On the Chocolate Fish auction site you can bid for items but you can’t list your own items. There may come a time when we open the site up for other listers so if this interests you be sure to contact us.

Here’s how it works:

1. We fossick around New Zealand for second-hand materials that could be made into something awesome.
2. Then from the Chocolate Fish studio a new upcycled creation is designed and produced.
3. This brand new (upcycled) product is then placed online for auction.
4. Those who love the product then have one week to place a bid. The person who bids the highest wins!
5. Chocolate Fish then donates 50% of the net profit to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand (the net profit is what is left after we’ve paid for the cost of materials, any special equipment and technical administration).
